The Coastal Driftwood theme has finishes that are going to be texturally interesting with a colour palette that is soft and relaxing with a very coastal feel. Beautiful tones, bluey greys, the colours of sand, and a little bit of natural timber look is what creates that scheme. For the Kirra façade, cream bricks were selected with a vertical timber look cladding, because it adds that beautiful natural element contrasting against the brick work. Together they result in a very coastal cool palette that is still very contemporary but very Australian.
Featuring a walk-in butler’s pantry and an immaculate gourmet kitchen, the kitchen area will
not only appeal to budding master chefs but will become the natural hub of family life. A generous servery provides practical bench space and cleverly separates the kitchen’s working parts from the living zone whilst still allowing everyone to gather round.
The Coastal Driftwood theme is explored internally with highly textural timber look tiles throughout in a soft grey herringbone pattern beautifully contrasted with finishes with soft timber tones, stone finishes and infusions of nautical blue.
The colour palette for the Coastal Driftwood themed master bedroom is inspired by the beautiful colours found in pebbles along the beach. Beautiful blues, crisp white and natural timber accessories alongside the coloured walls and rich textured carpet making it your sanctuary.
The standout feature in this home is the baby blue v-groove cabinetry in the vanities allowing the timber element of the ‘driftwood’ to be used in a coastal panelled look. This creates a beach hut feel which is perfectly matched with timber handles and elegant white tapware and accessories echoing the white foam of coastal waves.
